Substance Awareness Counseling

At Collier High School, we recognize the growing challenge of youth substance use and are dedicated to providing support through our Substance Awareness Program. Led by Ms. Stephanie Englander, a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), our program offers a safe space for students to navigate their journey toward sobriety and work toward making healthy choices. Through weekly meetings, educational sessions, and community outings, we empower students to embrace a healthier, substance-free lifestyle.

The program emphasizes the value in seeking support and offers access to recovery communities such as Smart Recovery, Refuge Recovery and 12- Step Programs. Generous support from local foundations and communities enables the program to organize enjoyable, substance-free activities, demonstrating life's fulfillment without substances. Our goal is to break down barriers, destigmatize substance use disorders, and empower students to build a brighter, sober future.
